In summary, the Starfish topology offers two main advantages over other exchanges: Significant improvement in the use of TVL by reducing liquidity dispersion Allows onboarding and onboarding of new zero collateral tokens that are not protocol tokens (e.g. no new USDC is required to pair with a new token to provide liquidity) However, this topology can be further enhanced by switching to a multi-tiered starfish topology (MTST) as follows: In MTST, all external tokens supported by the exchange are placed in 4 buckets and combined with separate starfish tokens: Tier 1 (alongside RADIO): Stablecoins (eg USDC, DAI, USDT, UST, etc.) and Blockchain-native currencies (eg ETH, MATIC, AVAX, BNB, etc.). Tier 1 tokens are associated with RADIO. This should be the least volatile starfish. Level 2 (along with SHACK): Blue Chips (for example, LINK, LUNA, USV, AAVE, etc.). Tier 2 tokens are paired with SHACK. This level should be more volatile than level 1 but less volatile than the remaining 2 levels. Level 3 (combined with BUILD): intermediate protocols (for example, MANA, GRT, ENJ, etc.). Level 3 tokens are paired with BUILD. This level can be quite volatile over time. Level 4 (combined with DREAM): Home (for example, ECOMM.io and more). Tier 4 tokens can have even wilder fluctuations than the previous 3 tiers and are paired with DREAM.
