What is persistence? Persistence allows exposure to multiple asset classes, such as Liquid Staking (pSTAKE), NFTs (Asset Mantle), and Synthetics (Comdex). Persistence's mission is to create an ecosystem of multi-chain Web3 products designed to stimulate global liquidity and enable seamless value exchange. The main Persistence mainnet is a proof-of-stake chain based on the Tendermint BFT consensus engine. Persistence's multi-chain technology stack (currently supporting Cosmos, Ethereum, and other Tendermint-based chains) abstracts the complexities for developers and allows them to build DEXs, marketplaces, loan/lending platforms, etc. Persistent is also working on the development of cross-chain NFT and metadata standards in conjunction with major proof-of-stake networks/foundations. As one of the pioneers in the proof-of-stake industry, Persistence also supports upcoming PoS networks through its AUDIT.one validation arm. Role of XPRT in the persistence ecosystem staking token: XPRT holders can stake their tokens for staking rewards while helping protect the working token of the persistence main chain: XPRT staking profits from activity economy within the persistence ecosystem. DApps within the persistence ecosystem share a portion of their revenue/fees with XPRT stakers and validators Chain Governance: The XPRT token secures the network through staking, is used to pay fees, and defines voting weight for proposal governance to make critical decisions regarding the evolution of the persistence chain Persistence operates at the confluence of DeFi, NFT and Proof of Stake and currently consists of 5 applications some of which are live and some will be live in the year 2021 with many other applications on the site
1. Comdex: Comdex is a user-oriented institutional application that provides a comprehensive commodity trading solution such as trade discovery, trade settlement, and trade financing.
2. pSTAKE – pSTAKE is a liquid staking app that enables staking from major PoS networks to unlock the liquidity of their staking assets and use these assets in DeFi by earning staking rewards.
3. Asset Mantle: Asset Mantle is a framework for NFT markets. As a structure, Asset Mantle will provide all the necessary elements to create individual markets
4. AUDIT.one is the validation arm of Persistence.one providing high-level validation services for major PoS networks. How many XPRT coins are in circulation? The Persistence Core-1 mainnet launched on March 30, 2021 with a genesis supply of 100,00,000 XPRT. 9.1% of the Genesis supply (9,100,000 XPRT) has been in circulation since the launch of XPRT. The supply of XPRT is limited to a maximum of 403,308,352 XPRT and will arrive in the next 15 years. To jump-start the ecosystem, XPRT players will receive around 35% participation bonuses in the first two years (inflation is halved every 2 years). Who are the founders? Persistent was founded in the second quarter of 2019 by Tushar Aggarwal (CEO) and Deepanshu Tripathi (CTO).
Before founding Persistence, Tushar was the first employee of LuneX Ventures (crypto arm of a traditional Singapore VC, Golden Gate Ventures) and helped create the fund, which was the first regulated Crypto VC fund in Southeast Asia. Deepanshu was part of a three-person team that built a unified payment acceptance platform that was white-labeled Reliance (investors include Facebook, etc.) and was eventually sold to an African fintech company for $9,000,000.
Persistent is currently a 25-member team that includes developers from IIT-Bombay (India's leading technology institute) and other leading technology institutions in India. Where can I buy XPRT? XPRT appears on Huobi, KuCoin, AscendEX, Gate.io, Osmosis, Emeris, Sifchain with multiple exchanges lining up to support XPRT soon after.
