1. General Information The Parami protocol proposed a blockchain-based AD 3.0 paradigm for Web 3.0. It provides a protocol stack to create a user-centric, tokenized ad economy. As a chain guard built on Substrate, it serves all other chain guards to Polkadot/Kusama via the relay chain. 1.1 What is AD 3.0? AD 3.0 is a human-centric, privacy-focused network powered by blockchain, where users are intelligently rewarded for attention and data, while their sovereign identity is unreliably protected.1.2 By what AD3.0 AD 1.0: Age of Slavery The AD model is inefficient and non-transparent. Advertisers face ambiguity and fraud as user data is monetized without consent. Users become DATA SLAVES when they have no rights to their data and cannot benefit from their participation. AD 2.0: The AD feudalism era incentive returns part of the profits to users, but users are still not responsible for their identity and data. Data is scattered and isolated across various applications and websites where it cannot be aggregated or used. AD 3.0 – The AD network is democratic and governed by all token holders. Future network traffic is generated directly by the influence of each token creator and holder, rather than being acquired by a particular website or application. Users have absolute sovereignty over their identity and data. They will receive a smart reward based on their attention and relevance score.2 Three Tier Protocol Stack 2.1 DID Tier • DID level: decentralized identity management, including registration, update and revocation. DID aggregates both the social media identities and the blockchain identity. Parami Protocol provides a complete set of PDID (Parami DID) solutions compliant with the W3C DID standard on Parami Node and expands your business based on the DID standard. The Parami protocol will also provide DID aggregators for other DID standards. • Web2.0 Compliant: Parami DID provides a verification method that can connect to users' Web 2.0 social network identities. • NO KYC: PDID allows users to verify the uniqueness of the DID by creating social graphs and performing anti-sybil analysis without any KYC process.2.2 Level of privacy • AD Privacy Level: Advertising privacy, including linking, updating, and monetizing private files. The AD privacy layer provides a personal cryptographic advertising preference (PCAP) document attached to the user DID, which contains the user's advertising privacy management service. The PCAP document works not only for payment but also for user preference data. The stored data can be used but cannot be viewed. 2.3 Application layer • Application level: tokenized activities such as SmartDrop, Yield Farming, Social Coin Generation and NFT. The application layer provides a decentralized oracle to collect data from the conventional internet for ad verification. It also defines interfaces for dapp tokenized advertising to achieve AD privacy support. • PCAP data retrieval: Dapp can retrieve the PCAP (ZKP) data of some DIDs to determine and verify the reward the user deserves. • PCAP data update: Dapp can update (by checking some tags) the PCAP data every time it sends a bounty to users, with homomorphically encrypted updated data. IM support: Parami is designed for instant messaging applications. Parami SDK will help users to engage with ads in Instant Messaging Explorer or MiniApp. DAO Support: Parami will support other DAOs as seed groups to expand the DID ecosystem. Other DAOs can register on Parami and manage their DAOs on it for an extra incentive. Governance Support – The Parami protocol is fully governed by all token holders. They can vote on the board and any proposals to optimize the network. NFT: Protocol support Parami supports NFT as a ticket, badge or collector for ad campaigns. Yield Farming Support: Parami supports Yield Farming so that users can exchange rewarded tokens for stablecoins and advertisers can easily set up an ad fund.
